Toro Muerto is three hours away from Arequipa to Lima, Peru. You can also get from the Valley Colca.Aquí are a number of known petroglyphs of Toro Muerto name. They are manifestations of rock art in the Valley of Majes spread over an area of 5 km2, ranging between 400 and 800 m.s.n.m. Perhaps the richest area in rock art in the world; has more than 6,000 recorded in low relief blocks. Its stones were engraved with all kinds of geometric and anthropomorphic representations, birds, quadrupeds, reptiles, etc.

08:00 Pick up at hotel and departure for Toro Muerto.
11:00 Arrival at the largest repository of Petroglyphs in Peru, Toro Muerto, in ancient times was forced to move from road to the coast Caylloma Camaná. Toro Muerto is a place where ancient petroglyphs bear witness to the life of the ancient inhabitants of these lands. Here volcanic rocks are scattered in an area of about 5 km2, probably due to the violent eruptions of Chachani or Coropuna.
