Cusco is considered the Archaeological Capital of America, a place full of archaeological sites, museums, temples and more magical places such as the Sacsayhuaman fortress, the Qoricancha temple, the archaeological centers of Qenqo, Puca Pucara, Tambomachay, the Plaza de Armas and the Cathedral of Cusco.

The mountain of 7 colors is a magical place where its roads were part of the ancient Quechua culture, because it is so impressive it attracts a large number of visitors, no doubt because of its variety of colors and because it is located in the Andes at a height of more than 5,000 meters above sea level

Machupicchu is an Inca city surrounded by temples, platforms and water channels, built on top of a mountain. Its construction was built with large blocks of stone joined together, without the use of amalgam. At the moment it is considered cultural patrimony of the humanity when being recognized as important political center, religious and administrative of the Inca period.

Itinerary

DAY 1
 Upon arrival, we will be waiting for you at the Cusco airport, to transfer you to your hotel. Free afternoon in Cusco. Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 2:
After breakfast, free morning to tour the city. In the afternoon guided tour of the Imperial City of Cusco; visit of the Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral, the Temple of Qoriqancha and the nearby archaeological centers of Qenqo, Tambomachay, Pucapucara and the Sacsayhuaman Fortress. Overnight in Cusco.

Day 3 :
After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel, to take a full day excursion to the “Sacred Valley of the Incas”. Visit the picturesque town of Pisac and its colorful Artisan Fair. At noon we will have a buffet lunch in a tourist restaurant. In the afternoon we continue the journey to the Inca Town and Fortress of Ollantaytambo, a gigantic administrative, agricultural, civil, military and religious complex of the time of the Tawantinsuyo. Overnight in the Sacred Valley.

 Day 4 :
After breakfast, we will transfer you to the train station of Ollantaytambo, to take the train to the town of Aguas Calientes, where our guide will be waiting for you, to accommodate you on the buses that will take you to the citadel of Machupicchu, on a trip about 45 minutes to reach the wonder of Machupicchu. In the Sanctuary of Machupicchu, we will begin our guided tour, visiting the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the royal rooms, the Temple of the Three Windows and the cemeteries; The tour lasts approximately two hours. Then you will be given free time, to take a walk around the citadel. Then we will take the bus to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you can have lunch in one of the many restaurants in the town. In the afternoon we will take the train back to the town of Poroy, (depending on the departure time of your train) and upon arrival at the train station, we will be waiting for you to transfer them to the City of Cusco. Overnight in Cusco.

Day 5:
Mountain of 7 Colors: Output
We will pick you up at the hotel at 3:30 a.m. to 4:00 in the morning, to begin our incredible adventure of a full day. We will travel about 3.5 hours in our private van through the Southern Valley until we reach the beginning of the trail (4,326 m./14,189 ft.); Along the way there are stunning views of agriculture terraces, canyons and snowcapped mountains. Once you reach the beginning of the trail, we will have a light breakfast, then start with our walk; You can see herds of alpacas and llamas on the way, also getting beautiful views of the snowy Ausangate, mountain of 7 colors.

After a walk of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, we will finally arrive at our destination, the Mountain of 7 colors (5,020 m.s./m. 16,666 ft.); We will have an hour to enjoy, take pictures of the natural landscape. At the indicated time we will begin the return, the walk will take us about 2.5 hours until we return to the starting point, where our private transportation awaits us that will take us back to the town of Pitumarca to have lunch and rest. After lunch, we will start the 3 hour trip back to the city of Cusco, where we will arrive at approximately 6:00 p.m.

Day 6:
Breakfast at the hostel. Transfer to the airport to take your flight back to Lima.
